Coconut Nut Butter

Are you a nut lover? Do you wish you could make nut butters of all sorts of flavours? Well you can! This recipe calls for 400g of any nuts of your choice. You can make it smooth, chunky, or anywhere in between. It’s perfect, delicious, with no added sugar or oils- only nutty deliciousness. Nut butters are also filled with healthy fats and protein! Both of these macronutrients help you to feel satiated and full for longer, making them a great addition at breakfast or for a snack at any time!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 75g almonds
  • 75g cashews
  • 100g peanuts
  • 150g macadamia nuts
  • or 400g of any nuts
  • 50g raw shredded coconut
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Roast all the ingredients in the oven at 400 degrees for 5-10 minutes until golden brown (until you smell the scent of the toasted nuts)
  2. Transfer into a blender or food processor and blend on high speed while scraping the sides continuously until desired consistency
  3. Add a pinch of salt to enhance flavour
