Easy to Make Oatmeal

This oatmeal recipe is easy to follow and doesn’t require many ingredients. It is a great way to start off your day with a boost of fiber, which is good for increasing satiety. Oats are a source of soluble and insoluble fibers which can aid digestion and help with staying regular. This recipe can easily be modified with whatever toppings you have available. Get creative with the topping you can choose, which can range from fruits like berries, shredded coconut, nuts, or even little pieces of chocolate!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/3 cup of oats
  • 1 1/3 cups of water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cloves
  • 1/4 cup of raisins

Instructions

  1. Place oats, cinnamon stick, cloves, water, and raisins into a pot.
  2. Place the pot on medium heat and let it boil for 8 minutes.
  3. Serve with fruit of your choice and enjoy.
