Nicole Chan is a Registered Dietitian who adopts a ‘non-diet,’ evidenced based approach and is passionate about helping her clients improve their overall health and well-being through nutrition and/or fitness. Nicole has also been a Certified Personal Trainer for 4 years and frequently uses a combined approach food and fitness to assist clients in achieving their goals.
She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences with a Specialization in Dietetics at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. She completed 11 months of internship experience in various specialty areas including renal, diabetes, oncology, medicine, geriatrics, ICU, cardiology. Nicole is a member of the College of Dietitians of British Columbia, and has been practicing for 2 years as a Clinical Dietitian with Alberta Health Services and Vancouver Coastal Health. She is currently completing her Diploma in Sports Nutrition with the International Olympic Committee.
Outside of her professional practice, Nicole loves playing volleyball, weightlifting, figure skating, and baking. Nicole believes in practicing intuitive eating, building a healthy relationship with food, and developing life long, sustainable nutrition habits.
