Chocolate Avocado Pudding

Avocados provide essential omega-3 fatty acids while the raw cocoa powder has a high antioxidant content, making for a delicious nutrient-dense recipe! This pudding is an amazing afternoon snack to keep you full until dinner time, and will also provide you with some much-needed energy from the sweetener. You can easily boost the nutritional value of this pudding by slicing up some bananas and adding them to the pudding before enjoying.

Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- ¼ cup sweetener (maple syrup, honey, agave nectar)
- 4 tbsp milk of choice
- Dash of vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: whipped cream
Instructions
- Add avocado, cocoa powder, sweetener, milk, vanilla, and salt to a blender. Blend until a smooth pudding-like consistency is formed
- Transfer pudding to a small glass or bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes to one hour
- Top pudding with whipped cream or some cocoa shavings, and enjoy!
