These delightful little turtles are sweet in more ways than one! Matcha is known to be high in antioxidants which reduces oxidative stress on your cells. Antioxidants may help decrease the risk of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes. Matcha is also high in caffeine – if you’re getting tired of coffee every morning, try a cup of matcha to switch things up! Baking these turtles is a lengthy process, but it’s an easy and approachable recipe.
