Tofu is high in plant-based protein and contains all nine essential amino acids. It is also a great source of minerals such as iron, calcium, manganese, and phosphorus! This dish is comforting and reminds me of my childhood in Hong Kong, as it was something I used to eat all the time, paired with rice and steamed vegetables for a light and refreshing meal. Raw garlic is also extremely beneficial, and is often applauded for its medicinal properties in Chinese culture.
